MPR’s Amanda Card is invited to share her knowledge and experience during this year’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Region F Conference at the University of Connecticut, February 24- 26th.

Ms. Card will speak on a panel alongside other recent female engineering graduates. Specifically, she will discuss both her career path and her transition from collegiate to professional life. “MPR seeks to find the most talented in the field, Amanda is one of them, and we are happy she has this opportunity to speak at such an event,” Dennis Klein, MPR Vice President, Power, said.

Founded in 1950, SWE is a nonprofit educational and service organization that helps women achieve their full potential as engineers and leaders. The conference will host more than 400 engineering students and professionals from across the northeast region.

Ms. Card was the University of Connecticut SWE president when the University of Connecticut hosted the Region F conference in 2013.  Ms. Card received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
